It is great for making fillet putty, thickening epoxy for a better glue consistency, and for use below the waterline. Resin drains off a vertical surface but by adding Fumed Silica, the resin can be made to stay in place.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFumed Silica can also be mixed with milled fibers for structural putty and\/ or glass microspheres\/bubbles for a sandable putty. It is added to the resin at approximately a one-to-one ratio by volume.
